living consciously:
I live off-the-grid entirely. I buy organic food and try to check the sources and get to the real story behind the labels. I don't use a lot of store-bought cleansers, but they are as simple and natural as I can find. I have supported the NRDC and Sierra Club since the courts were the only place we could stand against the last destructive administration. I'm helping to make the company I work for more green. I try to spread the good green word whenever and wherever.
growing into a more conscious you:
The compost pile is pretty neglected and it's really too dry and cold here to work well, so I want to start vermiculture to save our food scraps from becoming trash. I have all the materials to build the box and just need to do it and order some verms. We live off-the-grid on solar and wind power, but we drive gas-powered vehicles. Gardening in Flagstaff has some unique challenges and the grow season is barely 3 months. The greenhouse project got smashed during a supremely windy day. But there are good (expensive) options here at the local green market. And the garden needs to come inside the house!
Outside of my personal lifestyle, I am intent upon helping raise consciousness around the world and within my network of peeps. I am currently planning an eco-restoration business.

After reading The Spiral Dance by Starhawk to plan my wedding ceremony, I realized that my beliefs align with Wicca. I wish to learn more about it and develop a more consistent spiritual practice.
