Isabelle 1994 - 2008Submitted by bluecobalt on December 17, 2008 - 10:26am.
There was nothing I had to pretend And nothing to prove You gave a love that came to me So strong and so free And now that you're gone You have left me life's legacy But it's so hard to live on your own And it's so hard learning to live without My darling companion Nothing can last forever This much I know So sad and so sorry we came to the end And now nothing in this wide world Can compare to your smile But I count myself lucky ( categories: )

Liver flush morningSubmitted by bluecobalt on March 26, 2007 - 8:14am.
Whew! I did a liver/gall bladder flush last night. This is the third or fourth time that I've done one, and I've gotten stones out every time. http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/huldas_recipe.asp It's kinda intense and makes you feel pretty crappy for several hours, but it is so worth it. I always feel so much better afterwards, and I can rest assured knowing that I will not ever have to have surgery done to remove stones. It helps your whole system too, cause the stones are filled with bacteria and toxins, and are just sitting in your liver causing problems. ( categories: )
Natural Products Expo WestSubmitted by bluecobalt on March 15, 2007 - 12:46am.
The vast majority of the Expo is about food products, many of which I felt the title of "natural" was dubious at best. I mean, yes, organic hot dogs, pizzas, and hamburgers are made from natural ingredients, but I'm not so sure that the result is something that I would call natural, or healthy for that matter. And while there has been some movement toward more eco-friendly packaging for products, I did not see much of that evident at the show. Plus, most of the food companies were giving out samples of food in small plastic cups, and supplements or body care products were being handed out in little one or two time use foil or plastic packets. A lot of waste when you think about 65,000 people attending. ( categories: )
Online green world is growingSubmitted by bluecobalt on February 6, 2007 - 9:22am.
The online green world is growing! It seems like there are new options to get your green information and tips almost every day.
One new-comer to the scene is Green Options, a collection of blogs by some of today's top green bloggers (plus some new voices), discussion forums, a Green Life Guide, and the latest green news in the Green Report. The blogs promise to be the best part of this site. With a diverse group of bloggers touching upon a wide range of green topics - from politics and science to green living tips. Nice info. Climate change on YouTube #1Submitted by bluecobalt on February 5, 2007 - 10:11am.
I find that there is so much information on Global Climate Change, that it can be a little hard to wade through it all. I also find that I like to see video evidence of what's happening. It often makes me cry to watch it, but I don't want to hide from the truth anymore, and I find it inspiring to see who else is out there working to help the planet.
I've begun going through the 5,000 videos tagged "climate change" and "global warming" on YouTube.com, and will post my favorites here on my blog. Here are the first ones.
Powerful segment from the ABC 20/20 Special, "Last Days on Earth", about global climate change: ( categories: )
What's been happening, and what's in storeSubmitted by bluecobalt on February 2, 2007 - 6:20pm.
Hey Everyone!
Thank you so much for being some of the first members of Dianovo.com. It's been exciting making this all happen, and we're growing more and more each day! It's cool watching a dream come true. Here at Dianovo, we've been hard at work helping that dream come true, adding new sections to Dianovo.com, and applying your suggestions on how to make it a better experience. One example of which is the completely revamped business and nonprofit profiles. Now business and nonprofit members can have a personal membership as well as a business or nonprofit membership. And, if you are like most green entrepreneurs, you probably have more than one business, and perhaps you head a nonprofit organization as well. You can now create multiple business or nonprofit memberships, and utilize all of the tools of Dianovo.com for each account - blogs, circles, private messaging, friends lists, etc. ( categories: )
