Hello!Submitted by x0xNatix0x313 on November 19, 2008 - 9:29pm.
Hello everyone! I'm a freshmen at a community college near my home in New York. I've been assigned a research paper and i picked Alternative energy/Sustainability as a topic. I was just wondering if anyone has anything to say about the matter. I know i can just google away and stick my face in a book all day but i want to know what other people in the world besides me think. I'm open to anything you have to tell me.
Thanks.

Bio-diesel Baby!Submitted by blossom on December 25, 2006 - 5:43pm.
I just bought a bio-diesel bug and it has been such an uplifting experience. Just knowing that I am not burning petroleum and so not supporting war directly feels like the only choice to be making right now. I find myself making these choiceless choices more often lately. I call them choiceless choices because when I understand and embody my life as inseparable from gaia, there is no question as to whether the choices I will be making will be for the highest good of all sentient beings. When the proof of my book came to me on 30% recycled materials, for example, I wrote the publishing company and said that I was not interested in killing any trees in the interests of circulating a message to others about anything. I think our actions must reflect our values really, really clearly. This is what we're being called to now - to refuse to compromise because we are so inspired to live in a conscious, life-affirming way. And my car, by the way, also feels really, really light energetically. Light on the earth. light in body, light as embodiment. ( categories: )
